The Arena now gives you an opportunity to create Private Arena battles and invite your Mafia / Family Members for a close battle!

Q: How do I create a Private Arena?
A:  You should be able to see a “Private Arena” button in the Fight tab of the Arena.

Click on the button to create a Private Arena.

Once you click on the Private Arena button, you will see the following options:

1.       Stamina Cover charge for your Private Arena: Click here to read more about Stamina Cover charges

2.       Room Name: You have an option to choose a custom name for your Private Arena  

3.       Min Players: This lets you select the minimum number of required players for your Private Arena (3,4,5 OR 6) 

Please note that a minimum of 3 players (including you) are required to start a Private Arena battle.

4.       Select opponents: You will be able to select opponents from your Mafia, Family or a system generated list of recommended players.

Once you define the specifications of your Private Arena and select your opponents, click on the “Send Invite” button to create your Private Arena.

Q: Why can’t I see all my Mafia/Family members on the list?
A: You can only invite players who are concurrently online in Mafia Wars (regardless of their current actions in the game) and hence only online Mafia/Family Members will be visible in the list.

Please note that you will be unable to invite players who are already in a Holding Cell or fighting in the Arena. 

Q: What happens after I click on the “Send Invite” button?
A: As soon as you click on the “Send Invite” button, you will be placed in a Holding Cell and an invite will be sent to the selected opponents to join your Private Arena.

Q: How will my opponents know about an invitation to my Private Arena?

A: Your opponents will see the invite to your Private Arena through an in-game pop-up notification:

Players can also see your invite in the Arena Notifications section.

If they accept the invitation within the required time, they will be placed in the same Holding Cell as you.

The battle will begin once the minimum required players (as configured while creating the Private Arena) join.

Q: Can I only invite the players who are currently playing in the Arena?
A: No, you can invite players who are online in Mafia Wars, regardless of their current actions in the game.

However, you will be unable to invite players who are already in a Holding Cell or fighting in the Arena. 

Q: Can other players join my Private Arena through the Arena Lobby?
A: No, only the invited players can join a Private Arena. Private Arenas are identified by the icon, with the “Join” button disabled.

Q: How do I manage or disable pop-up notifications for the Arena?
A:  While playing Mafia Wars, you may receive similar notifications from opponents inviting you to a Private Arena or a 1-on-1 Challenge.

Click on the Arena Notifications icon on the Top Bar to access and manage all notifications related to the Arena:

Q: How do I challenge someone on the Arena?
A:  In order to challenge a player, they need to be online.

Online players can be identified by a Green icon against their name in the Leaderboard. You can now challenge any online player in the Arena to a 1-on-1 Duel.

Mouse over a player’s name to view the Challenge options:

Once you find an online player, you can send a Challenge invite to them by clicking on the appropriate Challenge button with respective Stamina Cover charges.

Q: How many players can I challenge in a day?

A: You will get 5 Free Challenges every 24 hours. The Free Challenges reset every day at midnight Pacific Time. If you wish to Challenge more players beyond the free limit, you can unlock Challenges by using Reward Points:

Q: When will the Easter Eggselence Event start?
A:  The event will start on March 23, 2013 08:00 AM PDT and will end on April 04, 08:00 AM PDT.

Please note that you will be able to collect the Easter Eggs till April 02, 08:00 AM PDT through various channels.

Q: How can I find Easter Eggs? What are the daily collection limits?
A:  You can earn up to 175 Easter Eggs per day from Jobs, Fights, Robbing, Feeds, Gifting and The Arena. You can also buy Easter Eggs using Reward Points.  

All daily limit timers reset at 11:59 PM Pacific Daylight Time (GMT-7)

Please note that Crew Bonus is not applicable for Easter Eggs in Jobs, Fights and Robbing

1.       Jobs – Easter Eggs will drop while doing jobs. You can collect up to a maximum of 35 Easter Eggs from jobs every day

2.       Fights - You can collect up to a maximum of 25 Easter Eggs from fighting every day

3.       Robbing - You can collect up to a maximum of 25 Easter Eggs from Robbing

4.       Arena - You can collect up to a maximum of 35 Easter Eggs by Fighting in the Arena

5.       Feed Posts – You can collect up to a maximum of 45 Easter Eggs through Feed Posts (30 + 15)

a.       You can post a Feed every 8 hours and get a maximum of 10 Easter Eggs per feed post when your friends click on them (10 x 3 = 30)

b.      You can get up to 15 parts per day by clicking on Friends’ Feed posts

6.       Gifting - You can collect up to a maximum of 10 Easter Eggs through Free Gifts.

Q: How does the Event work? What can I do with the collected Easter Eggs?
A: During the Easter Eggselence Event, you can collect or purchase Easter Eggs and use them to:

1.       Collect bunnies to complete the Hopper’s Delight Collection and vault the collection to win an awesome Reward

2.       Redeem collected Easter Eggs for awesome loot

Hopper’s Delight Collection:

To complete Hopper’s Delight Collection, you will need to collect 1 of each collection items listed below:

-          Chocolate Bunny

-          Cotton Bunny

-          Crystal Bunny

-          Golden Bunny

-          Gummy Bunny

-          Marble Bunny

-          Paper Bunny

With every Easter Egg you collect, the progress bar for the collection item (Bunny) will be updated:

Once you collect enough Easter Eggs for the progress of an item, you will receive a notification.

Each time you complete the progress for a collection item, the progress bar will reset and a new collection item will be displayed:

Q: How do I redeem the Easter Eggs for Loot?
A:  While you are collecting the items for Hopper’s Delight collection, you can redeem your Easter Eggs for some awesome loot.

Click on the Redeem button on the Home Page module:

You can redeem each of the following loot up to a maximum of 3 times

Please note that redeeming Easter Eggs for loot will not impact your progress towards completing Hopper’s Delight collection.

Q: What is the Reward for completing Hopper’s Delight Collection?
A: Once you complete the Hopper’s Delight collection, click on “Vault Collection” to Vault the new collection and receive the Great Bunny
